The 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case were also disassembled and inspected (Both were in great condition), andreassembled with new seals. Jeep runs great, I just did the first oil changesince the rebuild. Also, all new clutch installed. This was a NM Jeep when Ipurchased it. I have done the following: Engine- professionally rebuilt, andcarefully broken in. Transmission- inspected, disassembled and new sealsinstalled Transfer Case- inspected, disassembled and new seals installed Clutch-all new Radiator- re-cored and rebuilt by radiator shop All new single-exitexhaust system with glass pack muffler, installed one year ago Other new parts:Ignition coil Alternator Water Pump Thermostat Weber carburetor rebuilt HeaterCore Center Console New Shift boot New plastic glove box Frame- while I had theengine out, I disassembled and stripped the front part of the frame (fromfirewall to front bumper) and coated with two different types of rustpreventative from POR-15. That part of the frame is very clean looking and willrepel rust for decades to come. Many miscellaneous new parts, too many to list,hoses, electrical parts, etc. Upgrades: New Heater Motor designed for ChevyBlazer- blows lots more heat! Weber 32/36 carburetor, recently.

1977 Jeep CJ-5 - Greensboro, NCFor sale by Owner - North CarolinaGreensboro, NC 27401Ph: 3257182156Web: www. usedtruckspenn.comOptions:Description:I spent over a year and close to $30K restoring this Jeep from top to bottom with the intention of keeping it forever. This is not a flip vehicle that I cut corners on to try and sell. It is not perfect and it wont win any big national shows but it damn sure could win some smaller shows. It has the original steel tub, hood, fenders, and grille. The only new reproduction pieces are the tailgate and windshield frame. All media blasted to start and all rust removed and new steel welded in. It is not an ultra high-end finish and is not laser straight but it is probably as straight as a CJ was rolling off of the assembly line in 1977. Overall there is next to nothing on this CJ that wasnt either replaced or refurbished. I used as few OMIX / Crown replacement parts as possible. BODY - As stated, media blasted to start and all rust cut out- All original body except for windshield frame and tailgate which are new. New glass and seal as well- Rear section of the tub under rear seat was replaced with high quality American reproduction piece. (not thing guage cheap asian panel)- Not laser straight but very nice- Medium quality paint used which is grey with a blue tint- Underside finished with black bedliner- Inside of tub finished with light grey Monstaliner. Not super high textured and doesnt get hot in the sun.
